I plan on doing the same headers next month. Let me know any headaches. Check out the polished Aluminum Grill (w/Chevy Emblem) on Ebay. It would look great on your car.

just wanted to vent, but ive seen all these threads about the recall and cold weather and what not and wrote it off since i didnt get anything in the mail. i just figured it was probably done before i got the car. well im a gm fan and all but these ******** just sent me this recall letter in the mail this afternoon saying that i can have it taken care of for free as long as i bring it in before the 28th. wtf its the 25th and the 28th is a sunday and there not open. its **** like this that pisses me off. nothing like giving someone 2days notice. what a bunch of dicks. anyway im done rantting i just wanted to speak my mind.

i thought that your out in cali? the recalls only for cold weather locations.

someone posted fairly recently about this issue causing his car to catch fire, one way or another its not a good thing for GM...

I live in Michigan and just got a recall notice in the mail. They say the power steering cooler line may leak or split. I have until Feb. 28 2011 to get it repaired or they sent a reimbursement sheet if I had it fixed already.

lol. thats what i get for not reading the bold print. it does say 2011. im a dick and take back my previous rant about the dealer.

I haven't gotten anything either. Northwest Indiana guy here...

I've also been experiencing some "clicking" in the steering. I don't really hear anything, but I can feel a little something when I'm turning. It only happens occasionally. Anyone else experience this?

If it does it at low speed or while parked its probably the steering knuckle. If under warranty take it to dealer if not grease it.

So I guess the ISS is as much of an issue on the Monte as it is on the GP? You would think GM would have learned their lesson after so many ISS issues on the Bonneville.
