Default Update: .65G Accel in the rain! 275/40/18 & 245/45/18 on GXP

Today I installed Falken 452s 275/40/18 & 245/45/18 on my 08 GXP.

They don't rub & I love the way they feel so far.

I really wonder if that size won't rub on a Impala on the front.

you and me both, 275/40/18 Sumitomos are cheaper than 255/45/18'! That gives me a reason to burn up the set of 255mm Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's I just got lol

I'm trying to find a set of mustang wheels in either 16" or 17" to run a sticky set of tires on part time.

My sig pic is sporting 275/40/17 MT Drag Radials up front & 265/45/17 Goodyear F1s in the back on 17x8 Mustang Cobra wheels. No rubbing with those either & torque steer was less too.

I'm running 255/50/16 BFG Drag Radials on 16" Muffstank wheels. No issues yet, but I do plan on getting the correct bolt pattern 16" wheels asap.

At least the wheels found their way onto something with power.

Congrats on the fitting those monster tires up front! I'm running 255/45r18's on the Imp. I get a little rub on the rear, when I hit a bump at a good speed with people/weight in the back. They don't rub on the fender, but on inside wheel-well. 275's would be sweet all the way around, but I didn't think they would fit. I've got to check the offset of the wheels, I think that holds the key to fitting fat tires up front. Front wheel drive vehicles have a mid-high offset, rear drive mid-low.
