There are a few things to look for. Is the trans. running hot? Did you switch to steeper gearing? Is the trans. fluid fully synthetic? Let me know and I will be able to help you out better.

Get that fluid out of there. 4t65E's hate synthetic fluid. I used fully synthetic in my old rebuild and it started to slip after about 2 days. I replaced it with regular dex 6 and the slipping stopped. Do you run a trans cooler? If not, I'd get one. It'll get your trans temps down to about 170 - 180. If the trans. gets too hot it will long shift. Usually 230* or more. Did you have the electronics replaced when they rebuilt the trans.? Did you replace the old t. conv?

Who did you have rebuild it? I am sure the kit from TEP is fine but it DOES matter who builds it. I found that out from experience.

I have not put a tranny cooler in. I will when i get the vibration stopped.
i changed the fans so they come on earlier than stock.
stock turns fans on at 217 F.
now they come on at 197 F

I saw the list of parts on there and that looks great but did the place replace the Volvo parts we have in this car? We have a few extra clutches in the 4th gear like the Volvo's do. Just curious...

It does sound like the fluid to me. I'd flush that and put in regular dex 6. A blend should be fine, just not pure synthetic. A lot of the V-6 guys experience this same issue with Mobil 1 full synthetic. I had this trouble with the Royal Purple full synthetic. That $hit came right back out and the problem corrected itself almost immediately.
