for some reason the ones that are into it are always scary lookin. to bad those hot as import chicks arent into gbodies.

I did a V8 Fiero conversion about 10 years ago, and I needed A and B above. Hundreds of hours and about $9k. And that with a kit!

anything custom costs $$$$ but you have something that is not out there..

that youtube vid of that RWD monte is SICK!!

would love to do the GXP RWD if I had the $$$..

well the fab skills i have but the money issue is a toataly diffrent story, i was even thinking that if it came down to it and i only could afford a trans, just spinning the motor and hooking up a trans out of a 5.3 silverado rwd only and just building that, it really doesnt look to hard to do! well to me atleast

and for those of you who say go get a camaro a vette or a gto, that just isnt possible for me anymore, i traded in a totaly custom 97 v6 firebird that would of run down a new camaro ss easy, i had 14k in the exhaust alone, but i had to get rid of it cuz i needed something that i could fit a car seat into, the g8 is still an option but i just love the way the interior of our cars are set up, plus i am just so used to having a HUD now! every time i drive my g6 i start freaking out thinking the HUD is busted only to remember duh it doesnt have one


also im 6'4" so i cant fit into a vette

Why an M5 trans? The gto comes with an m6. You are gonna spend all this money and stop at 450? Please at least tell me you mean whp.

sorry hit the wrong botton when i put that in yeah the m6, and yeah i figure 450-475rwhp should be enough for me for awhile, but like i said that is the optimum outcome probably wont end up being that high i would be satified if i can get the whp it makes now to the back end

Lol, I was betting that was it. just wanted to make sure. Don't get me wrong though, that would make a badass Monte. I previously owned an 06 GXP. I know how those 5.3's can be.

so am I and honestly the vette isn't that bad, you should try sitting in a viper now that sucks.

I agree, my buddy had a Z28 with only a lid and blowmaster and ran a 12.8@108
Also, my vette ran a 12.7@111 with a intake, tune and catback with a 2.73 gear.
