So which model is the truck with hotter spark that everybodys using d585 or d514??

Would the truck coils of a 08 silverado be compatiable? Would I need the brackets and wiring as well?

They may be the right ones. Check to see if there is a heat sink on the bottom of it. You would need the harness and the brackets too to make it a plug an play application.

Question Sorry to disturb an old thread..

Are the heatsink ones still better than the newer ones without? I have these 3 styles (left to right) from a 1999 LQ4, 2006 LQ4 and a 2010 LC9(5.3l), would the ones from the 2010 be any better than the 1999s?

The heatsinks on the coils are nice, but your not gonna see any extra horsepower by swapping coils, unless you have a bad coil somewhere.
