08 Imp SS heater not working This is very weird, my heater didn't work this morning and I have never had any issue with it before. I put both pass and drivers dials to hot air, but nothing got hot and the car was at normal operating temps. I did a cortex tune last night and I hope nothing was damaged (if that is even possible) to the BCM even though the cortex doesn't touch the bcm. Anyone have any issues with their heat not working? I hate going to the dealership because I work 9-5 and cannot be without a car.

I also experienced something like that. It works when i have the dial set to "full" but when i have it to one or 2 notches no heat will come out. I also work 9-5 so going to a dealership wont do me any justice

Is the BLOWER not working, or is there no HEAT? My blower and/or blower control module are shitting out on me and I have to tap on the motor once in a while to get it to work.
It started a couple months ago and I noticed that, when hitting a bump in the road, the blower motor would slow and then go back to normal. I ignored it until one night I hit a massive pothole and it stopped altogether. I was driving home with the window open a bit, wiping the condensation from the window when I hit another bump and it came back on again. It's been that way for about 1.5 months now, and I've found that tapping on the motor with my multi-tool when it cuts out gets it back up and running.
I intend to replace the blower eventually...but right now I have more pressing issues to deal with.
SSCoup...your blower control module is probably failing. In older W-bodies, there was a "blower motor resistor" unit that failed, resulting in certain fan speeds not working. I think that is now part of the Blower Control Module.
