If you drove them on the street every day I wouldn't expect much more than 5,000 miles out of them. You can easily get a full season out of them if they were strictly reserved for the track. Assuming you would go a few time a month.

I had DR's on my sentra that still had life after two years of 1/4 mile runs, easily over 100-125 passes. My current BFG Drag Radials for the Impala have about 35 passes on 'em and have only lost about 1/32nd of tread.

The track closed for the season about a week before I got my tires so I kept them on for a 1,000 miles just "testing them out".

Time to bring one back from the DEAD!!!
Smokin, those GP rims are they 6.5wide?
Centex, do you think the stang rims you're running had anything to do with you breaking so many studs?
Anyone else try any new rims to run for drag rims? I'm looking to get some, so I don't beat the hell out of my bridgestones since I didn't buy them for track use.

i went with an 18" Enkei 9.5" with a 285/40R18 Nitto 555R...its a pretty good set up too! lots of rubber...bad part is that it is and 18" but stays true to cars specs and lets me put larger rubber on it...and the fact that they are soooo much more light weight...they are the NTO3+M's
