yep, I am at a mere 86K miles, averaging just over 27K a year and not a hint of tranny problems. While it sucks to be the guy who does have trouble, it is not an epidemic, it is rare to have a tranny dump on these cars.

mine is a DD all the way! Mine is a 06 w/ about 57,xxx miles on it

i dd mine. bought it with 15k almost 2yrs ago got 43k on it now. its def a good dd but i hate putting all the miles on it.

I guess I should have worded it differently hah. We all know they're DD-type cars...I was just looking for reasons why I'd miss it during the daily grind lol. Guess we've confirmed they're DD's and can take miles of abuse...now trying to find a japanese commuter and work out a deal on a '04 stepside Silvy with only 62k miles down in SoCal. We'll see if this time I actually let go of my LS4.
