What does a cut out do for your car besides make it louder? And how much would it cost to purchase one?

I can definitely vouch for the sleeper thing…I’ve also had a service tech or two test drive my car and they think they’re hopping into a (“Oh great, not another”) V6 Impy what with the 17” rims, wing delete, exterior SS emblem delete, chrome trunk strip, non-SS headrests, and gold bow-tie airbag emblem ‘n all…la la la…

Service Tech: “You say you got this car here at our dealership…did we special order it for you this way? Whoa…”

I'm sure there would be some kind of change in ecomony without mufflers. Not from a performance stand point but from the weight savings. My spintechs are heavy as hell!

I track fuel economy closely in my car, simply because of the 1000 miles or so a week it sees. We saw absolutely no change after removing the mufflers.

I just bought the 6000k /3000k setup and just when I thought I had read everything about hids on here I'm starting to wonder if I should've bought the 5000k. Didn't realize a lot of the people recommending the 6000k were using projectors which apparently filter some of the blue. I don't want blue lights, maybe a slight blue tint.

I have 6k, they're blue - but not too much. See the pic on this page

Thanks. They're ebay brand, I bought 'em a while back before I found DDM. 6k/3k. I bought my brother a set for his H8 from DDM, I'll more than likely be getting from them in the future.
