Any pics of 50% tint?
70% is all that is legal here on the fronts, so I figured I could get by with 50 and not get pulled over. .. 35 definitely gets you pulled over and ticketed here.
I don't have the car anymore, so pictures are what you get. .. .but I had 35 on the rear window and 50% on all the side windows (Front and back)
To give you a idea of another vehicle with 50% tint, here is the replacement for the impala, 50% on the front two. The backs are factory somewhere around 15-20%

Verdad Gallardo Totally agree with you, too many tickets when I moved into the state I live in now. . .35% got me two tickets within the first month. Too much hassle, so I found something that still helps some; but doesn't get me pulled over .. . . . something those stated above just don't seem to understand or have any empathy for.
I also got tired of getting popped for the 35/15% combination I had. I have 50% on the doors now. 15% on the rear quarter-windows and back glass. Since NYS is so fucked up, financially, I still get pulled over for the 50% by the State Troopers. BPD leaves me alone...but bugs me once in a while for no front plate.

i have 35 on the doors, and 20 on the back 3 windows, and have had that on all my cars in the past 20yrs, and i've never been pulled over for the tint, but got tickets for it when i was pulled over for having no front plate... got pulled over twice in a few month period for the front plate, guess they're serious about that here in NY... 70% is whats legal on the front windows in NY, altho thats what stock tint is, so basically u can't have tint on the fronts in NY... but it still passes NYS inspection...

^^^ thats a lil on the dark side. yeah here in nj you cant tint the front door glass thats why i did 35% all the way around its darker then nothing but not dark enough to warrant pulling someone over for it.
Over here in Arkansas I WAS runnin 5% all around but got a 210 dollar ticket. So I pulled the door tint off so the judge will knock it down when I go to court. After court I'm just gonna put 20% on that way it doesn't look near as dark
I've been ticketed here in NJ for having 35% tints on my camaro..so now I'm rocking 5% rear/ttops and 15% sides. I'm eventually going to redo the sides though. ... You won't get ticketed if you drive w/ ur windows down.

i just got my windows tinted yesterday
By law the darkest you can have is 15% on the front windows. Thats here in texas. Im running double limo tint in the back and you can't see a thing inside or out. And its legal
