Non-Intercooled Turbo on and running 12.7 at 112mph with a 2.26 60' - I got to get better tires!

 

Pretty much smoked the tires for 800 feet down the track then hooked up... as you can see from the time slip

 

lol sounds like exactly what i did trying to run all seasons on mine at the track, 115 is a solid trap speed though, feel proud about that, thats very low 12's.

keeping the thread alive..my son went to the strip for the first time ever in his 08 Impala SS..bone stock on street tires ran a 9.64 @ 72mph. How much of a gain would he see with some bolt ons, a 93 octane tune and some better traction(2.1 60')?
