those caddys are really really nice. my fiance wants something with a little bit of room so the Vette is out, she dont want a manual, and it cant be loud, so i told her this :get ur own car. and then i got the silent treatment for a couple days

 

challenger FTW did you see the episode of horsepower where they put twin turbos on a stock R/T? 5 lbs boost with a gain of 100 HP

 

lol yeah never a good thing to say but hell why should you have to sacrifice a car you want so she can drive it lol

I love the challengers. when they were still a prototype one of my buddys who works for chrysler brought one of the R/Ts home for testing or whatever took me for a ride and just pegged it, went through 3rd gear spinning like crazy

 

yeah i drove a 3.5 se challenger and it moves for what it is. it i cant find a used one over here

 

Used ones are up my way. Go on Yahoo Autos and search. I refused to get one if it wasn't an R/T so not in my price range. Theres a SRT one around here that I know its ocming when I hear it but I still have to look every time and it's stock. I'm still trying to decide what exhaust I want. I want an aggressive stock sounding exhaust. I want it to be heard, but I want people to wonder if it's stock (assuming they couldn't see my car). I love my car, but the more i think about it the more it seems it wouldn't sound right being a 4 door grocery getter with Flowmasters. It just doesn't look aggressive enough. MC and GP's can pull it off or even a lowered Imp with other visual mods but not mine.

 

yeah these impalas look too bland. if they had a hood scoop or something it would look better. my impala turns heads though. when i come down the road or something people just turn their heads in the direction of my impala. i love the attention but as far as visual mods, there isnt nothing to do

 

Why is everyone trying to get him more power when his main complaint is that its FWD, isnt that just making his view worse?

id move along to a RWD car if thats what you want but to be honest, I cant see your cars being much more expensive to mod then anything else. Every car has its weak point, and the V's is the rear if you dont know how to drive it.

 

That ain’t no ****. At only 6psi I’ve got to be the slowest turbo LS4 out there.

I went to a Dodge dealer about a year ago, the dealer tried to talk me into buying a Charger with the 2.5L lol, it was the most plane ugly looking car ever. I believe it had crank windows too..

 

thats what happened when i was car shopping before i bought my gxp, i was looking for impala ss's and gxps, so i go to the chevy dealer and tell them i want an impala ss, oh we have a huge selection of impalas, of course no SS's, i finally said to the guy " do you not know what an SS trim is on the impala?" he says well of course i do, but we have a big selection of impala's to choose from, then starts to show me an LT so i just left.

 

Same story here. Considering the demographics here and my appearance the guy assumed that I wanted to be like the rest of the clones out there with Chargers and Magnums on 22's. I have a need for speed and wanted a RT at the least. They tried selling me a 2.5 or whatever the base model was with more miles than my SS and for about $3k more. No brainer. I really wanted a Daytona or nicely equipped (leather, nav) RT.

Me and my salesman got in a loud verbal disagreement by the time i left. He said I don't know how to buy a car and was jerking him around...all I wanted to know was how much the car was. He was trying to sell me a payment. I left he continued to call and apologize until I told him the next day I bought a car lol. He told me I wasnt ready to buy a car and to come back when I was when I left the dealership. I wasn't walkiong around with 5k cash to put down just to window shop.
