Default front end swap 06-09 monte ss on 06-10 impala

has anyone ever put the front bumper off of a 06-07 monte ss,lt,ltz on a 06-10 impala ss,lt,ltz? i think it would look gr8 i hate the way the 06-10 impala front bumper looks i think the monte bumper would make the impala look more sportier

I like it, but I'm imagining the grills being black honeycomb. Slightly larger wheels or a slight drop and a more subtle hood.

The MPD hood, IMO, is just not the right look for the impala. Maybe if the scoop was more of a traditional style, but this just looks to ricey. Especially for $900... I wish they had something similar to the GP inferno hood for the Imp.

I like the inferno, minus the vents toward the top. But I completely agree that the Monte/Impala hood is blah looking! Very blah, actually.

Default Monte front bumper on impala

I just put an LT Monte Carlo bumper on my 2007 LTZ Impala. Other than having to drill two holes in each wheel well liner to accomodate the push pins. (Thru the existing liner holes into the Monte bumper cover) it was a perfect swap. Looks like it was factory born. Parts purchased LT Monte Bumper cover and lower grille. Swap time 35 minutes.
