Will hogan catted downpipe throw a code? i was looking at getting a new downpipe just to squeeze alittle more power out of the car. i need something with a cat so i was thinking about this http://www.hoganperformance.com/DP7S.htm. it said there is a possibility of throwing a code and i was wondering if anyone had this problem.
and has anyone had any problems changing the cat in terms of inspection and such? im from new york and they really kill us.. thanks

yeah i was reading reviews and it seems that its really up in the air if you will get a code or not. if it does throw one would i have to buy a diablo tuner or something like that to get rid of it?

First time with the downpipe it took about a month before it came on. Took it back off because when the code is thrown it disabled the remote start and I needed it for winter. After headers installed I put it back on and threw the code right away. Didn't matter though because I'm going to have it dyno tuned and have the code turned off.

TRUE!!! I just had this ordered!! I should be able to install this on the weekend! I went ahead and ordered that down pipe as well!! Sitting in the Garage waiting to be installed as we speak!! LoL!!
I just want to know any catches to make it an even easier install!! Looks like a very quick job, but, someone out there always figure out how to make the process more smooth than what it is!!

F.Y.I., The Diablo will only clear the code, but it will come right back. The only way you can remove the code with a Diablo is if you get a custom tune. Lew (06monteSS) can do one for you for about $50.
