For us..when the little ones gets older. Its going to be either a Camaro, Mustang or Challenger. The 2011 Mustang put it back on the radar. Just as fast as the SS, The Challenger would be if we find the right one.
Or if we can find a nice G8GXP. that will be another long term ticket for us. and back to RWD! I miss burnouts man!!
Or I might go certified used. There is a lot to look at..

I have a sickness where I forget and buy another Jaguar every 10 years or so, then I remember why I sold the last one.
2001 XKR Silverstone 'vert. (which I would not hack up) or I suppose I could live with a base model ragtop, add limited slip, swap out the 112 for a twin scroll and get around 450 to the wheels.

Okay, so the Evo and the STi are both Japanese cars, both 'rice' according to your generic definition...
I agree though, insurance is way too high on both of those. I'm thinking 05-06 M6 GTO or a G8 GT when I get rid of my 05 GP GXP, which will be soon

We commute a zillion miles a week, so it looks like the wife will be getting a Volt sometime in 2012, and I'll probably be rolling in a 2004-2007 CTS-V.
If our LS4s had better trannys, I'd probably be interested in keeping the Impala longer because it's a comfortable, nice-driving car with some performance. Unfortunately, 323 lb-ft of torque with a "stock" FWD tranny just doesn't spell longevity, as we've all learned.

Not regretting my move at all.
All you guys saying cadillacs have good taste....Those STS-Vs are damn rare, I've never seen one in real life.
I'll probably just swap mine out for a 2012 model next year (assuming it exists) If they made an AWD CTS-V I'd go into so much debt......as it stands I must split my funding between a good weather car and one I wouldnt mind taking through the snow.

The CEO of my company's brother has a Dodge Viper Hennessey. All I can say is SWWEEEEETTT. I literally drool every time i see it. I've heard it one time and you can literally hear it like a half mile away. He said the HP for that car is about 2,000 at the crank!
