Vibration after startup

Not sure if this is typical or not.
Happens every time after I start the car. Once I have moved a few feet, I feel (and hear) a vibration in the floorboard. Lasts for about a second. Kinda like something is calibrating, sorta like the vibration from abs. It has done this as long as I have had it.
Is this normal?

its the ABS self test...i freaked out the first time i felt it too.

good.
They should put a sticker inside the car outlining the odd but 'normal' behaviours

1. vibration after startup - normal
2. that funny shifting feeling at 50 mph - normal
3. twitchy steering when you romp on it - normal
etc....
