From what I've read non-Tap LS4s don't engage DoD in 3rd.

In my 01 SS, if you put it in D, it doesnt go into Overdrive...3 will be a little quicker(couldnt really tell) but wont get you as good gas

im guessing in our cars its the same, but also disables DoD..(Im guessing DoD only works with OD )

Wow, nice asshattery.

So you needed to read your owners manual to learn how to drive your GTP?

And to answer your asshattery - the owners manual doesn't inform you when AFM/DOD is activated/deactivated.

wtf, man? I wasn't attempting to insult intelligence or be an ***.

How the hell am I supposed to know what your owners manual says? I simply asked if it does.

The problem with text based communication is it's hard to decipher peoples intentions when they make their statements. My guess is you were probably drinking at the time you replied to mine, as your time stamp is fairly late, therefore your judgment on my comment was poor. Even if you weren't, your judgment was still poor, so back off.

I wasn't drunk, just fairly used to people being assed on forums. My bad since you weren't trying to be an ***. You're right though, it's hard to read through sarcasm and what not through reading words.

I appreciate the apology. I stopped texting the significant other because for some reason it always caused problems when I was simply messaging her a simple statement, haha.

shouldnt be bad. its like driving a 3 speed. the car doesnt really have any gearing . might hurt your fuel mileage, and obviously on the highway you would want to use overdrive.
