Default New to the chevy scene

Well just bought myself a 2008 impala ss and i gotta say i love it! i have previously owned a honda accord which i spent a lot of time and money building then decided it was time to get outta the honda game. im definatley glad that i made the decision to buy the impala! on my list is the k&n intake magnaflow exhaust and my cousin used to work at chevy and said look into chips, or tuners, any kind you guys would recommend? and last question were can i find the billet grill with the SS badge i love it!

welcome, there are acouple of tuning options, superchips, diablosport, and hp tuners. Another good basic upgrade is a 3" catless downpipe

do the tuners come pretuned like the sct's for the mustangs or do i gotta get someone to do it for me cause im guessing its totally different than tuning an a 12:1 comp. 4 banger on a laptop. lol

I'm a fan of HP Tuners - More functionality than Diablo, but no canned tunes - you have to do the work yourself.

Welcome aboard! I'd recommend HPTuners as well, can dial everything in especially for your car versus a canned tune for a particular make/model.

ya ill post pics hopefully this weekend, do you guys kno were to find the billet grill with the SS emblem ive looked and all i seem to find is mesh

All the "SS grill" is is just pull off the Bowtie and put an SS emblem that fits for the doors in its place. They don't come with the SS on them. Same goes for the mesh style and billet grills.

ok thanks, and im in georgia just got stationed at Ft. Gordon, never been to the south before gotta say its not that bad i like the weather, haha, im from the seattle washington area so im used to constant rain and cold.

He has an '08. DiabloSport is not an option for him, sadly.
