alright guys im bored and just for kicks, what would i need(besides what i have) besides forced induction or nos, to beat a 04 gto (M6,CAI,Just a ok driver on his best day) my mods are K&N,Custom cat back, getting a 3" catless (this month),275/40/18 up front,custom tune (this week)....and assuming i have a perfect launch what else? he needs put down lol

yea i was gonna see where i was at after that and my tune...he beats my buddies daytona charger by bout a lenght and he beats me by about a lenght last time we all raced for real but that was with bad tires, and just intake, and my exhaust

you would need to either stick a switchblade into at least one of his tires or load up his back seat with about 600#'s of scrap steel. Sorry, but my buddies LS2 m6 goat eats me alive and the ls1's aren't that much slower.

I had an intake and my cutout open a little when I beat a friend's stock 04 M6 GTO from 40-100. He passed me around 105 and I held about a foot behind his rear 'til 140.

I beat a turbo GTO 04' M6 car with the STS kit on it at MIR drag way. Now, he had a horrible launch, and he was not the best driver. But i did race him twice and beat him both times. However, on the highway, I could still see his license plate after he zoomed passed me (i think his feelings where hurt)....
