My (rough) new mockup for my car.
Based on this.
And I say black tails, black/chrome rims, chrome lugs, and leave the headlights. White/black looks really good.

alright after a lil resarch im going to do the headlights like i did my old honda. buy new factory lights take them apart, paint the chrome parts black, cure them, then install, that way its not illegal. it may take a few weeks but pics will be posted. unless it looks like crap then ill deny ever doing it an suggest against it in the future lol

Here's what can happen when too much heat is used:
And here's what I did the first time around. I stenciled an "SS" into some reflective-black vinyl over the reflector. Looked awesome, but the reflector on one side, which showed no evidence of warping before I reinstalled everything, warped with the little heat generated by the 194 sidemarker bulb.
Looking back, I wish I kept these instead of switching to the Halo projectors I like these WAY more.

Krylon fusion. I don't think I used clearcoat afterward.
After I did this, some guys (at NAIOA) have painted the entire headlight, including the ribbed area near the headlight bulbs. They've reported no issues with it affecting light output or aiming, but I didn't want to mess with that. I think they were just lazy and didn't want to mask off as much

eh i think it would look better like this, the chrome on the inside still adds character to it.all black would be cool but i think the way you had it looks amazing. you just got my mind made up
