+1 on the 3k fogs.

I used those in heavy snow earlier this year, and they really cut through the nasty weather.

Well, it provides power directly from the battery using heavier gauge wires, and only uses the factory wiring to trigger the relay. Basically better current, and better wires reduces flickering, failures to ignite and protects the factory wiring from melting due to too much current (although I hear that is near impossible to do with a 35W kit, I played it safe).

i would definitely stay with the 35w kit. the 55w kit is more for motorcycles that need high output for such a small reflector housing. 55w is also incredibly, overkill status bright. i woul also stick between 4300k and 6000k on the color temperature. any lower is yellow and any higher is stupidly blue and the light output fades considerably.
DDM 55w is WAY OVERKILL on a motorcycle. We have discussed it on several sportbike forums. And the guys who did get the 55w wish they had the 35w. I personally run the 35w 5k DDM on both high and low on my new bike (06 GSXR 1000... 365lbs 185whp ) I'm wishing I would have gone with the 4.5k cause of the blue tint when hitting street signs (WTF Cops what did I do.. oh wait those are my headlights)

So I'm going with 5k @ 35w - do we really need the relays for the H11 fogs?

Thanks - don't need to replace a harness.

I was reading the DDM's instructions for H11's - did anyone get the non-water tight harness? I can't imagine they would send out a harness with just the pins instead of the connector.

You will get the pin style...I have 2 sets of 5K 35W and they both are the pin style.

I believe the purple wire on the connector equals the blue wire on the bulbs....

Got mine - came with the "red" wire harness!!!

Works great and high quality wiring / easy install - thanks for the recommendation!

Hey All, been a lurker here for a while learning all i can about my 06 GP GXP. The light brightness is one thing, but how is the glare with the headlights? Some of the photos show a lot some none, but the again cameras always get headlight glare.

The glare in not that bad in the newer GP's. If anything, you might need to lower the headlights a small bit.

Haven't been "brighted" since I did the conversion - my headlights are still aimed the same.

I didn't buy the error eliminator and I haven't had any problems. I searched the forum before I bought anything and couldn't find anyone on here that had a problem so it shouldn't be an issue.

Don't think our cars monitor the bulbs, do they?

well at least in the GP I know it does, because when a bulb goes out it triggers a message in the driver information screen

My wife and I both have GP's and her passenger side light has been replaced 6 times due to a loose reflector and we have never seen the "bulb out" message in the DIC.

Maybe its year specific?

I doubt its year specific cause it told me in both GP's i had. When the bulb would go out it would bug the hell out of me till it got fixed. It tells you exactlly which bulb is out.
