So I VERY VERY carefully placed white LEDs (they do look blue but they are about 6000K in color) under my car to illuminate the suspension so the judges and specators could see it. The pics were VERY over exposed to really increase the effect. VERY VERY little light actually shines on to the ground and what does is shining off of the chrome under the car. Those of you that saw it at the G14 and other places can attest to it being nothing like under car neons and is very classy and clean. I get compliment after compliment on them. But enough stressing over what the uneducated haters might say...let me just say I have won every night show I have been to since adding the lights.

As for the LED strips, they look okay but they'd be so much better if they were integrated into the headlamp - rather than stuck on with 3M tape.
They'd also be better if a lot of people didn't have 'em. I don't live in a heavily populated area, and I see the LED strips almost every day.

You're not listening, the LED's will accent the engine bay, not under the car. It'll be an eye catching accent. You must not attend any car shows. One of the World of Wheels top winners had a couple of LED's in his engine bay- I guess you'd think a '72 Ford Torino GT was rice also!!! And if your not noticed you don't win.

Mel I was referring to the Firebird with the lights under the car in the link above, not what you are doing. If the car is customized right, you don't need any lights to attract attention. I'm attracted to a car by the way it looks, not by some lights it has underneath it.
