Subframe Reinforcement
I was wondering if anyone has these on the front of the subframe? I saw a picture of this in Alldata (I believe my FSM shows this too), it seems to be a stamped steel bracket that is bolted through the subframe bolt and has two smaller bolts hooked into the chassis. I have never seen this before. The part is #2 on the pic. If no one has this, it might be for the police cruisers/ taxis? Thanks!

I cant remember if my GXP has those or not but I have seen them on regular 04+ GPs. I think the reason for those small brackets it to provide a little extra support to the lower core support.

I think those bolts hold the bumper brackets on. I had to remove those to get the subframe down to drop my transmission. We got to them through the fog light doors under the car.
