110,000 miles - no problems.

Reminds me I should check the pressure this weekend.

No one has really complained about A/C leaks on our cars. Is yours leaking?

The main issues we have is mde door failures.

Wow - looks like the fitting is between the airbox and the ABS. I can't get my hand in there, gonna have to remove the airbox, but I won't do that until I get a new air filter and change it at the same time.

It's on my list of things to do this week so I will post the pressure when I take it.

I need to check my refrigerant level also. Mine takes a little while to cool off. It's worse than my 99 Camry and 96 Crown.

Mine was at 25 psi @75* - added one 14oz can and was still at 25. Will add another can tomorrow.

BTW the connection is on the center firewall - real easy to get to.

I've definitely noticed a drop off in cooling. Especially when compared with my Grand National, which has REAL (R12) A/C.

I guess I'd better check the R134 pressure.

Added a second 14 oz can tonight and the pressure shot up to 55 psi on my gauge @ 75* outside (evening).

My gauge is blue from 25 - 45 psi, the instructions targeted 35 - 45 psi @ 75*.

The Monte didn't like that scenario - high pressure limiter didn't turn on my compressor until my gauge showed 45 psi and then it would kick on and off. Had to bring it down to 35 psi and the thing stayed on continuously.

Drove down the highway @ 71 mph on recirc air w/ the fan on high and the car was downright uncomfortably cold - the side and back windows fogged over on the outside.

Switched to outside air and set fan to 3rd setting and car stayed cold - will need to see what it will do w/ 90* and afternoon sun now.
