Raced a 350z As the title says, i was coming from the car wash. Just got the SS all dolled up for that night (had a date) so im driving at like 45 mph on the highway/main rd and i see a 350z weaving in and out of traffic pulling a big ricer move. It had carbon fiber on the top half of the car and an annoying exhaust. so he pulls up to the light next to me reving his engine so i decided to give mine a rev back. He looks at me and says, "u tryna run that v6?" i give him a smirk and say "when the light turns green.." so it turns green and we take off. we were neck and neck off the line and my car starts to pull as soon as i get to 70 mph and i slowly start to walk him. Got all the way up to 120 mph. Got him by 1 and a half car lengths. Driver mod? Also i dont know if its the 260 hp one of the 306 hp one

yeah i hate when they come up with excuses but hey its all good because if you missed a gear thats your fault lol. but i didnt spin at all it was a perfect launch. i was holding the break and reving the rpms to about 2k and i took off..that was probably the best launch i have ever done. plus i anticipated the light very nicely 
nice kill that is how i feel about the excuses too i love light races they are fun but i have not got my launch down yet. i had a 350z do a ricer flyby to me at like maybe 75-80 he soon realized that we went to the same car show so i parked in front of him and did the best burnout covered the car in smoke. my friend yelled out the window and said v8 flyby
It was probably an 03-06 VQ35DE powered 350. They don't run as well as the 07-08 VQ35HR powered 350's. The easiest way to tell is the newer ones have a bulge in the hood. There was a local out last time I went to thetrack. Bone stock 08 350Z with the HR motor, ran 13.7 @ 104 in the heat. His best time is 13.6 @ 105.

Typically, there is no replacement for displacement. Extra torque is always a desirable byproduct of a larger NA engine that cannot be produced the same way if at all by a smaller NA engine no matter the type of hardware.
