id say go for it then man

My GXP still has stock rotors and pads lol. It has about 53000 miles on it, but by the end of the year I'm getting new brakes. Rotors are not warped, but the holes are clogged and it's making a squeaking sound when i go at rather low speeds . I am def going to get ceramic pads tho cause the front tires get COVERED in dust...

Speaking of tires, I'm still running stockers too lol. But I'm getting brakes and tires done the same day (October??).

We got the ebay rotors cut about a month ago, so we haven't picked out the new ones yet. On top of that, I talked to two different Napa's and they claimed that their rotors are not lifetime, despite what the website says.

Looks like I'm back at square one on new ones.

I did some research on R1 Concepts, and some guys have complained about warping, so I moved on.

I did get a recommendation for DiscItalia. They're pricey, but supposedly very warp-resistant.

Oh, and glad you like the sig pic...Thanks!

I'll vouch for the Napa Ultra Premiums. I installed them front and back on my '02 Monte SS, and also put in new Ultra Premium Ceramic pads. I've put about eight thousand miles on the vehicle since, and everything looks new. The pads make virtually no dust, especially compared to the stock ones on my GXP. I've been very happy with them, and for a lifetime warranty, it's hard to beat them at that price.

Just my two cents...

I know Mike and I needed brakes at the same time so I thought I would report on what I did. Had my front rotors turned and new Delco pads loaded in there (looking to sell the car soon) and I'd say I regained about 50% of the braking power I had lost. I'm not really happy with how they perform after a cut and some new pads, but we will see how they do after a bit of time.
