Finally got a car!!!!! I finally got one. A 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, 57000 miles, Black on Black.
I test drove a car on Monday eve after work. This car was awesome, had new tires and brakes, made an offer, they wouldn't come down. I told them I would have to think on it. Talked it over with my wife, and on wednesday called to make a deposit. The dealer told me it already been sold, heatbroken, I started looking again. We had a low price range so the pickins were few, but i found one in Rochester Hills Mi, about an hour and a half away. Called the dlr, car still there, set a time to drive it thursday night after work. Thursday morning I find I have to go to my Mother-in-Laws to move some furniture, I tell my wife we have to be quick because a 1.5 hr drive. When I get to my Mom-in-laws, she opens the garage and a Shiney "new" Black GXP is sitting the garage waiting for me. My wife was the other person who bought the first car I drove. My Wife is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is sooooo cool. I always have this reccuring vision that my wife would do this for me. My dream includes a 2002 white ws-6 Trans Am 6-speed with neutral leather. Unlike you, my dream has never happened, but your story gives me hope!

Thanks to every one for your kind words, and yes my Bride is awesome; I have always considered myself a lucky man. I will get some pics up later when the sun comes back up, had to wash and wax

This is a good story from a guy at work. His wife bought a new car with "our" money for better fuel economy because she had to put in gas with "her" money. She had a nice 300m and now it's a kia lol.
