Hate to burst your bubble, but your GXP is better then a G8 GT
-Lighter
-Better gas
-Easier to work on
-More options. Heated seats, sun roof, HUD, Bilstien shocks and sport tuned suspension
18" wheels, DVD nav (mine does) bigger trunk, much more confortable, suade interior, tap shift, better traction in shitty weather due to FWD, cheaper car payment ( trading in a used car for a used car hardly ever benifits the the guy who's the buyer)

I drove a GT G8 and was in love with RWD and a 6.0 and 50/50 weight dist. Auto sucked! Sorry..
Handling was deceant, and the accel was great. But with the mods that i had, I thought my GXP was better. Yes, if I modd a G8 it will stomp a GXP GP but speed isn'teverything. I really love my GXP and the only car I might consider is a STI. Turbo 2.5L with AWD+manual!
Best of luck to you, and if you were to trade for a GXP G8, then I'd be shitting myself right now. Lol.
Either way, good luck. And don't think that I'm bashing you. I'm just trying convince you that your GXP isn't all that bad and might not be worth trading for a higher payment.
Don't worry though... I feel your pain.. The G8 has aftermarket support and the GP GXP has nothing. I hate it too.
LET THE FLAMMING BEGIN... I DONT GIVE A ****

David I hate to disagree with you but your so wrong. The g8 has so much more leg room in the back. The trunk space is about the same. As for handling its much better. Oh and the power is sweet. As for the MPG my wife's uncle gets about 27mpg on the freeway.

David sounds jealous

One question though, how are we easier to work on? If it's anything like the GTOs, everything's a breeze to get to.

I envy the ease of cam swap.

The G8 and the GXP both have their ups and downs. Depends on what you want. It sounds like he'd rather have RWD over the HUD, Bilsteins, sunroof, etc. Also G8s have slapshift. I like being different and convincing people that my car is a V6.

My step-dad's got the Roto-Fab, wishes that the VaraRam was out when he bought it. That's kinda a question you should ask your new 'family.' But if I had to choose, I'd fork over the extra cash for the VaraRam.

EDIT: He was running muff delete in both of these.

I like the VaraRam....looks like the SLP one for the 4th gen Camaro/Trans AM.

My question would be: what does the law require for your car to be considered legal? Congratulations on your purchase!
