I know, I know, I shouldn't do this BUT I was soooo tired of being messed with. I was on the highway today and showed a 05-06 GTO who was king. It was a black one that was lowered and definately had an exhaust since it was way louder than mine is. Who says you can't make a LS4 fast on the top-end? All I know, mine IS... I know I shouldn't have done this but I was being tailed by like an inch for at least two miles and it was pissing me off. I put it in tap-shift and dropped it into 3rd and he just got smaller and smaller in the rear-view. I KNOW he tried too since all you could hear was his exhaust. I usually just cruise and do NOT like to race but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. I am sure some of you will scold me so I already know... lol... I kind of expect some of that anyway. I have to say I did feel great afterwards...

It was the 6.0 litre. It had it on the badges on the side of it and it had the dual outlets in back and the dual vented hood. He first passed me then we hit traffic and then he was behind me. We didn't race till he was tailing me for two miles. It sure was fun and no-one was in front of us for quite a ways.

Well my car does have 3.29's in it so I am sure that makes a nice difference. I go by RPM's instead of MPH. When I downshifted from fourth to third I was turning 2200 rpms at the time. When I went into third I was in the powerband for my car. I never needed to go to second gear. After I got all the work done I was very surprised on how well the car pulls in fourth and it pulls incredible in third. First gear is useless, very short. All I can say is I am happy with the outcome of the car and the race.
