ran a 2011 gt500 with work and 98 cobra with work I did continuous races with a 2011 gt500 he had me out of the hole, gained a car length on me but as the speeds got higher, i began pulling on him. By 130 i was pulling really hard on him. I did out brake him though! I was happy with this race considering he had a intake manifold and full exhaust. So he probally ran low 12's.
As far as the cobra goes, it was like he was standing still at every speed. I gained bus lengths on him. I am enjoying my new found power

with full bolt ons, ls6 intake, headers and a cam I think its more than possible, car and drive lists the gt500 doing 12.4 seconds at 117 mph, they're a lot slower for their horspower than they appear, I myself was neck and neck with my neighbors 2009 gt500, that thing was running 12.8

Props to you for putting one on the trailer, as you'd need some serious power to even stay close!

I meant a gt500. From what people have told me they use the ford gt manifold. It may just be ported though, i dont really know the guy i raced that well. I was told what he has through a friend.
The guy is a very good driver, you should have seen the way he was whipping through traffic. From the factory they run like a 12.4 with his mods he is probably running a 12.
My car will probably run a mid to high 12 but that is really because of me being so traction limited.
I messed around with a fully built 2000 camaro ss and a heavily modded srt-4 and the the srt-4 barley pulled on me.

I bet your car does run well, but no way in hell you were pulling on a 2011 GT500 at those speeds, with bolt-ons to boot. Sorry, but your car is not trapping over 118 with those mods and you would need that and maybe more to pull a bolt on GT500.
