no.. recall is for the hose/line... not the pump...

Maybe thats what I was thinking about originally when i said it wasn't for non freezing temp. locations. Perhaps they only notified those who had the car registered currently or at one time in a climate that qualified? Also they will fix the pump if the notice the recall line has forced the pump to become damaged.

Verdad Gallardo the car was registered in NJ till i bought it and then it was in PA. I had to get the line fixed a week after i got the car back from the trans getting fixed. Then no more than a week later the pump went.
