Flowmaster Super 44s Help Please!
one's definition changes over time. When I was 17 or so, buddy had a '69 T-bird. 429 Thunderjet engine with more holes than pipe in the exhaust. I considered that good loud. Now, I would consider it insanely loud and make my opinion crystal clear to the a-hole 17 year old running it that way. Cops back then agreed too. Got pulled over every time he got on it. New exhaust system and it was luxury car quiet (as quiet as they got with factory duals before the cat-con was invented.) He was able to get where he was going a lot faster being relatively stealthy compared to before. Learned then that really loud pipes just slow you down. All sound and fury, with nowhere to use it.
that is true but at the same time, everyone even cops say "hey that thing sounds good. what you got in there?" i even had a guy in a ford f 150 and he came up to me and was geeked over my car. they are often surprised that it has a v8
i drive alot with my cutout open unless my daughter is with me. i still have the cat on and i think its too loud for a DD personally, good thing i should have my new toy sunday then that can be my loud one
