Before I decided to go turbo, I researched this topic to death.

What I found was folks spend as much as 5-6-7K on there cars and are still not breaking the 350 whp point. Really big bucks for not such great gains.

To me the answer was clear. FI was by far the best bang for the buck.

In so far as the Cartuning Non IC kit, theres nothing wrong with it or the Non IC concept. The rule is to keep it under 5 psi and you will be just fine. But the great part about this kit is you can upgrade later when funds allow and add on the IC kit. If you really feel you need that extra power that is. I gotta tell ya, the Non IC packs a very impressive punch. I can still smoke the tires at 50 mph. And remember, the Non IC kit has alky injection for an added level of safety.

Good luck with whichever road you choose.

Cheers

Thanks! If I did the turbo set up, I know that I would probably be looking at more than 4k in cost. Buying a single turbo kit from Kevin will be more expensive than when you all bought it in a group buy. That is where my problem lies....I know myself and I know that if i went the turbo route, I would want it intercooled. That is where I think to myself that is a lot of money for a daily driven car. As you all can see, I am in the early stages of deciding what to do with my car.

I just want a car to be able to beat all the 5.slows with flows and a few other bolt ons around here and maybe be able to demolish an f-bodies or two with the same mods. I mean my car is already pretty fast and when I do get a kill, people always ask me what I have in it... I just want to reach overkill status.

it would be nice but who wants to spend upwards of 5-6k on a dd and not see track time. if he wants to beat on some 5.0's and some f-bodies he doesnt need a turbo. hell look at alabamaguy running them and he's not turbo the best advice i can give you is to learn you car cause anything can happen on the street ask me how i know

having the ability to tack weld pipes to hold, and being about to route the tubing yourself will save you a TON of money.

just pay someone to do the final welds of the pipe. We built one for my mustang for under $1800, that is including the turbos and intercooler

I agree. If you can cut and tack weld you can do it. I could have saved quite a bit if I had gone that route. I almost did it but I chickened out. I'm still cheaper than the Cartuning kit though. Kevin's kit is well thought out and you won't have any surprises. I'll have about $4500 in mine when it's tuned so I'm happy with what I have.

Nope not more. There is one kit left at the special price. Simply add the ic later when you have saved the doe.

Trust me, you will be exstatic with the non ic kit.

Cheers
