Videos were terrible but from what I can tell you obviously got out of the hole faster than him and he had to play catch up. He made up ground pretty quick though.

Your car seems to run decent though.

How were the videos terrible? And why can't you RWD LSx guys accept that our bastard children of W-bodies and LSxes can be fast too? So what we're FWD, last I checked drag races were straight lines.

Ok they weren't terrible, just not that great.

I am not saying the W-bodies cant be fast either. However, mod for mod they are still not, and will never be as fast as an Fbody. I am not bashing the cars at all and I would love to own one. They are a much more comfortable ride than a creaky, leaky Fbody.

And.. Your f body will never beat a vette mod for mod. Just wanted to stir the pot a little lol.. fwd bastard we are!
Good Vids for comparison purposes Travis. Your making progress. You need some more valve lift. Those heads flow up to. 550" lift and your only at. 474". Wish you would have stuck with my rockers. Gears and rockers with a 6200-6400 shift point would really help. Might be time to do a little weight. reduction mod. Keep up the good work man.

Yeah that's what happens when the same motor is in a much lighter, more aerodynamic vehicle .

Me and the F-body were as close to mod for mod as you can get. You can see from the roll video that no one was sleeping on the hit, the LS1 just pulls harder on the top side.

Judging by your trap speeds, I'd love to run you on the street with both of us on street tires.

It will get beat just like the videos show. I am sorry, but I wouldn't be worried about a bolt on LS4 in a bolt on LS1 Fbody. Bolt on LS1's will usually trap in the 110-112 range. No way a bolt on LS4 is doing that.

My car (in the video) traps 112-113. Id guess Alabamaguys would trap in the mid-high 10X range.
