Default Swirls on the SS

I washed my car on Saturday and after it drying and taking a look at it. I have lots of swirls and scratches that look like they could be buffed out or something along those lines.

What would be the best way to go about getting these swirls taken care of? Is there an "over the counter/shelf" product that would work. I'll get a picture of it later today.....when/if the sun comes out.

i would take it to a detail shop hands down!!! my gxp was getting like that so i took it to a shop in town and he wheeled and waxed the whole exterior and acid treated the rims and did the wheel wells for $85 and only took him a few hours, was the best $85 ive spent

meguiar's swirl x worked nicely on my car. I did it by hand and it took the haze out of my clear coat and softened up the deeper scratches on my car and got rid of the more shallow scratches. One of these days I'll go over it again with a buffer and it will probably look even better. I don't have any pics of before and after though

I had the worst swirl marks on my black SS and the only thing that worked for me was a clay bar treatment with Dawn Dish soap, followed by a carefully applied coat of wax (meguiars NXT)... I had tried both Meguiars and Turtle wax scratch and swirl removers and neither helped at all. The dawn dish soap with clay bar did the trick (I prefer mother clay bar when considering off the shelf clay at auto-parts stores).

this post kinda makes me scratch my head since a clay bar and wax would never get rid of swirls.

Meguiars NXT has a lot of fillers so it will help hide the swirls, but there still there.

forgot about the filler property since i havent used that **** in a long time....good thing about those is they last for about 2 weeks and then like magic the swirls are back.
