Default Eagle RSA vs Goodrich G Force KDWS

I know tires have been beat to death but I need new tires as well as an alignment due to the fact my Goodrich's have worn strangely.

With money not a concern which would you choose for all-season, dry, wet, snow. Between these two tires only?

I had the KDWS and they were a lot better than OE. They lasted me something like 20k miles though, but I beat the **** out of 'em.

This is the tire I am replacing the crappy Goodyear RSA's with. It is reasonably priced and has very good reviews on tirerack's website.

I do not know anything about the bfg g-force, but why would you consider the Goodyear RSA? This has to be one of the lousiest tires I have ever had. I hated it them on my 1997 Z24, and I hate them on my Monte. It is also one of the highest priced 235 50/r18 tires on tireracks website, FYI.

Per tirerack.com:
Pirelli p-zero nero: $524 for 4 tires. rating 8
Goodyear RSA: $1,076 for 4 tires. rating 5.5
Goodyear RSA emt: $1,284 for 4 tires. rating 6.3

Sorry for the rant, I have had bad experiences with Goodyears other than the RSA's, also. I just think that you can do better for less money. Good luck!

The RSA's were always good when I had them, replaced them with the BFG's. The BFG is a fantastic tire, and for the price compared to the Goodyear, it's even better. Winter traction on the BFG is fantastic here in New England as well. Only bad thing I have to say about the BFG is the noise, it's a very, very noisy tire.

That's a killer price for the Pirellis. What is the speed rating on that tire? My z-rated Michelins may need to be replaced this Spring.

I've had RS-A's come standard and three different cars, and they are, without a doubt, the WORST tires I've ever had. Handling is weak, ride is not smooth, and they're not even that quiet. They did wear halfway decently, but that's about all I can say. I think GM had a deal with Goodyear to provide these things at the lowest possible bid.

I've tried several different tires on the Impala, and the Continental Conti ProContacts I have now are probably the best compromise that I've experienced: They handle well, though not as good as a summer tire, but ride quality is outstanding. I've put about 25,000 miles on them and still have about half of the tread remaining, which is outstanding. Of course, we religiously rotate every 5000 miles, so that makes the tires go a long way.

Just my.02!

I had the Pzero's on my 3000GT before I bought my GXP and the tires wear insanely fast. Same with the Toyo Proxes 4's

DZ101s if you can. One of the most un-sung tires out there.
