Probably just burning oil. It's an LS motor. It's what they do.

On the other hand, the stock tune is pig rich in PE mode (well it gets as rich as 12.1:1), so there is a fair bit of unburnt fuel leaving the cylinder when going WOT.

Sounds like it's loaded up to me.

Does it smoke if you do you several successive WOT runs over the course of a minute or so? I know will mine smoke a little if I've not punched it in a while, but it goes away completely on the the second or third time.

Same applies as in the RUNNING LEAN thread, adjustments need to be made!
Same recomendation as there, even if you find a CMR dyno tuner they can dyno tune for you if that is the route you want to go and you will be able to return it to stock tune at anytime.

The TRINITY can hold upto 8 custom tunes I believe!

Just curious on your input on this. From my somewhat limited research on the LS engines, the ring packages is pretty tight on the pistons. However, I've heard that valve guides have a tendency to leak slightly. At WOT vacuum would be lower, and the guides is where I've heard more leaking occurs, so I'm not thinking oil is actually a factor here. But I'm wondering what leads you to say that blow-by is the reason.

It's running rich! Scan it for codes. Is the engine or the tune modified?
