Default FINALLY gonna dyno Paula

What's up guy's,finally found a local shop who does dyno's runs not dyno tune 10 min away from hm and 2min away from work.I really wanted to see my numbers with the mods I have now but un tuned.I had my bro in law tune me with the HP software, but for some reason she felt more sluggish so I had him to put her back to stock.Sounds funny, but I think he should stick just to Honda's for now.So any thought's of what I'll be putting down to the wheels, before I do the intake swap. Here is what I got header's into stock dp/cat into 2-1/2 no res to Magnaflows(2),K & N aircharger, and stock tune again.I'm not fully modded but she is a beast.Any thought's?
Thanks
Dom

*EDIT* My bad it's not a Mustang dyno it's a dynojet

240-250whp at most. i made 266whp with headers, stock cat no res, no ubend, flowmasters and k&n with professional tune. also a mustang dyno.

Dom,

I'm willing to bet you'll be in the 230 range, since Mustang dynos always return much lower numbers than a DynoJet.

Can't wait to hear your results!

BTW- What shop is doing this?

I'm confused, you say you have headers on this car, but you kept your stock DP. The only heads for this car that I know of are the thorleys and they come with a DP already on the heads. Am I missing something or did you just cut a perfectly good 3 inch DP off the heads and re use your stock one.

Thanks Mike, the shop is GTR and I was told it was a Mustang dyno but they cleared it up that it is a Dynojet.Gonna get it done on Dec 4,the day that Fontana speedway is open for street legals.

Thanks for everyone input,my guess was 260-275 whp maybe I'm reaching LOL.

Now I'm confused,Thorley makes the only "HEADS" I know there the only company making headers and I didn't know our stock DP was 3".I thought when I installed them the collector had to be welded to the stock dp that had to be cut.Last time I checked I didn't have a Hogan dp. Can anyone help out,LOL???
My bad hope I didn't come off like a dick, carry on.

haha oooo ya i bought the thorleys and while ago haven't installed them yet (or even open the box yett ) so I thought the throley down pipe that was attached to the heads was 3 inches lol. But since I have to cut the thorley's anyway to weld in a new flex pipe to fix the "hissing" problem you think its worth it to use the down pipe on the thorley's of keep the hogan and high flo cat? My original plan was to take the hogan DP and cat off (since its all one piece) reattach what would have to be cut after the flex pipe instal and then just have some 3 inch pipes fabed the rest of the way to till in connects to my magna flow (thus eliminating the cat). But now I'm thinking that might be a bit of overkill and I won't have enough back pressure and may actually lose power. Any input would be great since you know what kid of flow these heads have.

Before you do that, call Doug Thorley's, tell them the problem and ask them to fab you another piece with the better flex section that is used in the 2nd batch of headers. They were cool with me and did just that.

The headers dont come with a down pipe,it comes with front and rear header, crossover, and collector. If i were you i would go catless and save your stock dp and the Hogan dp if you have one.I live in Cali,so laws are different out here.

As for the hissing problem, mine has gone away still a slight hiss but not bad.Its up to you if you want to cut into your crossover,or deal with it for a short period of time.Either way youll enjoy the power from the headers, and when you go weld up the collector to the rest of your exhaust.Man it will sound like a beast open header, made me cream my pants

ya, it's illegal here to not to have a cat., but michigan doesn't have emission testing yet so its basically a un-enforced law. Ya man I'm stoked now to get theses on. Did you re use your stock gaskets or buy new ones?
