They will appreciate it LOL
Heres how i know...

Ding Ding Ding!!! We have a winner!
That is probably the pinnacle of ALL GM musclecars right there. I bet he wishes he held on to that bad boy.

my dad has owned several chevelle's ranging from pristine condition like the one he has now to a basic project car that got rebuilt. All his year models ranged from 66-67. There are pics on this site if you want to look at them. Here is the link.... https://ls1tech.com/forums/ls4-front...-chevelle.html

Probably not, it is his prized possession and has taken many years and a lot of time to get it where it is now. I practically have to beg or just give him that look and he normally will.... But you never know, he just might!

nothing super impressive. my old man had a string of 50s mercurys. 65 malibu, 66 impala ss, and a 68 notch mustang. they were all small block cars except for the mercs. like i said nothing super impressive like that ls6 chevelle, but i think they were kinda cool. unfortunately they were all before my time. he had a 66 notch mustang with a straight 6 in it that my mom drove and was passed on to my brother. it was promptly totaled and sold 25 yrs ago as an act of vengeance for not being given a big block olds instead.

My dad has owned more cars than i can count, but a few of the ones that i considered cool were:

'70 Chevelle SS 396 4-speed
'70 Malibu (chevelle clone) with a 350 and auto
'87 grand national non t-top
'87 grand national w/t-tops
'88 monte carlo ss, also had a '85 mcss as well
He also had a '66 Chevelle SS 396 that he drove home from the navy, which he sold to my aunt. Its been sitting in her garage for years.........id love to get ahold of that one, but they say they're going to eventually do a full restore on it, we'll see.

So, i'd say my dad is definately where i get my love for cars from!

Yeah, dad kicks himself for letting mom talk him into selling the LS6... Oh well, she had a 64 Ford Fairlane when they got married and with the new house, baby on the way, dad already had a old Dodge pickup that he was driving, she wanted a newer car..That she could drive, (she never learned how to drive a manual) at least he still ended up with a SS model.. I learned how to drive on that car and ruined several sets of tires as well!! They sold it and bought an 84 Caprice with a 305 ... what a DOG!!!

My dad had a 1978 z28 the blue type with the orange yellow decal package, Blue interior, then later on bought a 88 firebird formula with the 350 tune port, of course in 91 to 2000 i thought it was a badass car. he would go do dounuts when it snowed outside in like 97. man those were the days of no worries.
