Default dod disable without tuning. temp fix question

I'm going to use my stock vlom tray but I'm going to weld up the dod connector hole. Dod connector will be unplugged. I'm going to disconnect the power brake sensor as well. I will be getting tuned sometime next month. Will I be ok or do I have to keep the connectors plugged in? I need to use my stock tray for my intake swap cause m using dod lifters.

to my knowledge your stock tray won't work with the LS6/LS1 intake, you need an LS2/ truck tray. Why not keep DOD since your not going with a non-DOD cam?

I used the ls2 tray before and ruined my dod lifters. I ended up selling all of my stuff so this time I'm going to use the dod tray since the lifters still need pressurized oil. I have intentions of swapping the can. Just not anytime soon. My intake swap is just about done an we're welding the tray today. Opsu is getting angled and since the dod connector sticks up and cause the intake to not seat correctly I'm just going to leave it out and weld the hole. I hate dod and it will be tuned out sometime next month. I could modify the connector but I'm not really in the mood.

NMP0098 is really the guy you need to ask. Have you checked for clearance with the stock tray? What intake are you going with?

Ls1 intake. I'll do a write up and post pics. Everything will work as I've done my homework. What i wanna know, is if its OK to unplug the dod connector And powerbrake vacuum sensor in order to eliminate the dod from functioning till I get tuned. I've pulled the plug from the pb booster before and the dod quit working but now I'll be pulling the dod connector from the tray in order to remove the sensor and gain clearance
