The SS is attached with flexible clear silicone (RTV) . It has held through weekly carwashes and MI winters. The small SS emblem is only like 12-15 bucks new off ebay too, so a pretty cheap addition as well.
I also agree re: some crap on ebay. I will try to find a link where I got them (amber/chrome signal bulbs). The ones I bought have lasted and I have had no issues. I have heard of others buying some that burn out prematurely.
EDIT: Here is a link to the seller I bought mine from - superfast shipping too. Also, I personally bought two sets because they are only $8.20 a set including shipping. I figured if one burnt out, I did not want to have to take the time to order again and wait for delivery. So far, no burn outs.

If you have trouble finding the small SS emblem for a reasonable price, let me know. I have two extra. I am not looking to sell them at this point unless, like I said, you actually have trouble finding one at a fair price.

the chrome/ amber turn signal bulbs looks killer ... i was going to get red LED's and test the attention of the cops ... but i like the look of those bulbs much more ... you got a link for the store you bought them from, you know how ebay is, with rip off's and horrible quality imposter's
