And like I've said in the other threads, I love the way it feels. Most of the slop in city driving is gone, and the car drives much more crisply. It looks like the car has also picked up about 1 MPG in city driving.
The only downside is that the transition from 4 to 8 cylinder mode and back is more noticeable, as is TCC lockup and unlock.

Unless you're going to cam or run sticky tires, a gear change does little for performance gain. Just going to spin your tires more.
