Hi,
start with a cool engine/remove radiator cap/drain radiator/remove battery tray and battery/remove drive belt/remove 3 bolts from waterpump/remove old pump and clean gaskets from engine. Installation is reverse/tighten to 89 inch pounds/fill fluids and start engine until normal operating temperature is reached. Check for leaks/check fluid level again.use caution and never remove radiator cap on hot engine.no pun intended, this is for the 5.3 engine.
Have a blessed day...........jim

Finally finished!!!
Had the day off today so went to local auto parts to order water pump thinking it was going to take days to get there when the guy said "should be here in 2 hours" is was like AWESOME!!! plus they gave me a 10% discount. So went home started to remove battery (easiest way for me was to remove the 4 screws from the fuse box and remove the harness from the back) For the belt I had to remove the passenger tire and a piece of plastic covering , then used a crowbar to pry on the spring that puts tension on the belt(I searched this idea from supercatxr7 and worked like a charm ) then everything else was easy. Took me about 2 1/2 hours to remove and install , not bad for a rookie
Btw thanks to all your tips and ideas I saved paying for labor.

The easiest way for the belt I found without the special tool was take the bolt holdng the tensioner end out is quick and easy. Then to put it back end we used a jack and piece of wood. Did this when I changed my power steering pump 3 freakin times. The thermostat is a fun job as well:-)

I know they're 5" too big. I don't like the 18s that are stock. But I deal.
O/T: But I'm looking to downsize the brakes to accommodate 16s, but keep or improve the stopping power.
