auto dim/temp/compass install

auto dim/temp/compass install

Found a thread for installing the auto dim but nothing on install auto dim/temp/compass rear view mirror. Anyone do this.

Why?

We have the direction (compass) and temperature displayed on the DIC and the HUD simultaneously.

i bought an auto dimming mirror and it has the compass/temp option on it so I figured I might as well hook it up if possible.

Make sure that auto-dimming mirror you bought has a microphone.

If not, you'll lose OnStar (BFD) and voice commands if you have the factory NAV.
