Went to the track

Well I found out last night that I need a tune real bad and that my bridgestones handle great on the street but suck at the track. Plus I don't really heat them up like I should since I want them to last.

Also a little driver mod would help!!

mods: DT Headers, 1.8rockers, K&N CAI, DMH E-cutout

Congrats only one run?I'm scared to hit the track and see how bad I will do,it would be my first time in any car!

no need to really heat up street tires, just get the dust and debris off. just takes practice to get the 60' times down.

Finally you got to go to the track man about time!!!! LOL Yeah a tune will definetly help you and put some DRs and watch those times drop.

Nah, I got in about 5 or 6 runs but that was the best. I kept spinning my *** off out of the hole. Then I decided to change lanes and managed that 2.2, most of the others were 2.8's.

Well last 2 weeks ago when the tracks were suppose to be open they closed cause it froze here. We had like 20 degree weather with a possibility of snow!! The tune will come eventually, took me a while to find a tuner I could trust, now I just need money!!

It was pretty cold out last night, 40* or so, so track prep wasn't the greatest.

Oh and Smokin, I'll be in McAllen Sunday afternoon-ish but I'm takin the civic down there. My rear camber in the Impala is all F*ed up again, so I don't want to take the long trip like that.

good jjob on getting some track time , more practive and you will get that 60 ft down , the mph is a little low with the mods , hows the tune on it .

40* in that case yeah you would really have to heat them things up, i cant even hook at that temp with my 315's in the camaro.

Mine are messed up two ,acutually yesterday I took it get check with a buddy of mine and told me that both hub bearings are out , all cambers, and rear struts. I was like WTF?

Not bad at all, get that 60ft down a little more and you'll have a 13 sec slip. What was the DA?

*edit* I checked on it, and it was roughly -1700, so you had great air going for you. Get that thing tuned and your mph should definitley improve. Keep us posted!
