i think it would be a great idea using the ls7, c/6 zo6 ones ! i have a 2007/ zo6 and those exhaust manifolds are one of the, best ! most zo'6 owners / almost no power is gained by going to headers ,maybe 10 at most ?.. not worth all the monies, plus you will lose your warranty ! new zo6 engine istalled mabe, $20,000 ? rkvette

I would love to use the LS7 manifolds but they come stright down so I'm not to sure if they'd fit. It would be great to have a pair to test fit! The LS2 manifolds that I have pictured will be our best bet judging by pics.

Dipstick costs about 100.00, flanges are 40.00, manifolds are 100.00 and labor is 97.00 per/hr. The guy quoted me 4-5 hrs. plus parts.
So... this idea, is a punch in the face!
Sorry to get your hopes up guy's. looks like I'm going with DT headers.(tail..between legs) and a different TB adapter.

Ordered my TB adapter so my casted one will be for sale. It fits the LS1/LS6 intake and works great with the stock crossover.
WilliamGT, added me to the group buy .So now I am going to cam. Been in touch with Roger at VHP and Patrick G http://guerragroup.com/camshaft_help.htm
I still have all of my old cam swap stuff so I just need a cam cause I sold my TR220

Here we go again... LOL

I have a friend wanting to put LS7 manifolds on his GXP. We have the car apart right now. Rear doesn't seem to be too bad. On the front though we're trying to figure out what to do with the coolant lines.

Anyone put LS7 manifolds on? Any shots of the front? Not wanting to snip and re-route coolant lines unless absolutely necessary.

Here is a pic of mine, but not sure how applicable it is due the the modified water pump, new alternator location and lack of the original LS4 coolant tubes.

Do post pics and keep us updated. The stock front exhaust manifold is a pretty good design. It's the rear manifold that is restrictive after 330 hp or so.
With my cam, intake, stock exhaust manifolds and Magnaflow 2.5" exhaust. I was trapping 107mph with a lazzy shift at 5900.
After increasing the shift points to 6500 and installing headers with a custom 3" into daul 2.5" exhaust I have hit 111mph. I feel That the shifts made the biggest improvement.

Those LS7 manifolds are beautiful.

LOL. Yeah even worse is the fact that it's BONE STOCK. Not even a K&N airfilter.

Not modding our GXP. Modding a friend's car. I will take pics.

So when you say not running stock coolant lines, what do you mean? Did you re-route them?

I think I can get around the coolant lines with a sharp bend and not have to touch them. We'll see.
