Minor work today
If i'm wrong about you show some evidence and ill aploigize, but I doubt you can find anything.
Little story....
I bought a 1980 K5 (rust bucket) with 215,00 miles on it. I pulled the valve covers off to change the gaskets and I couldn't even see a freaking valve spring! Sludge up the ***.
I sold the truck to my Cousin, and we ended up putting on a Performer intake, rebuilt Q-jet, Scorpion 1.5 roller rockers, headers, Vic Jr. water pump, underdrive pulleys, and dual electric fans. When the intake finally..... popped off.. the lifter valley looked like a somebody dumped a pot of coffee grounds mixed with tar into the motor. It was his truck now and if these parts caused the truck to blow.. then he was going to be ok with that.
About 2 months later we took a road trip up to Leavensworth. 2-3hr drive and his oil light came one. We checked the oil and the truck was bone dry. The trans had a front pump leak so he had a box of trans fluid in the back. We added 4qts to the engine and he took it easy back home. Once we pulled into the drive way, the engine started making a knocking noise. He was pissed and decided to let the truck sit for awhile before changing the oil to see if the knock would go away and to dump the trans fluid.
When the drain plug was removed nothing but tar came pouring out of the engine. we had to keep pouring fluid into the engine to clean out the pan. Once the oil looked clean. He pulled the filter and it was up to the top with gunk. I was affriad the motor was done at this point.
With new oil/filter the truck fired right up. It sound better then ever.
He changed the oil/filter again a week later (still dirty) Truck ran great. Smoked real bad though and burned a lot of oil.
He ended up buying another truck and and wanted to swap everything over.
When I pulled off the valve covers, the heads looked new...
When I pulled off the intake, the engine looked new
My shop teacher used to tell us stories about the wonders of trans fluid. He even used to wash his hands with that stuff.
My dad tells me the same kind of stories too. He would run a bunch of trans fluid through a engine before tear down.
I've got an old buddy who is the master at ripping people off. He buys jacked up cars and sells them for a profit. He dumps brake fluid into engines to quite lifters and has even added saw dust to engine oil to stop oil leaks. He loves trans fluid too

I don't let he go near my car lol
I've heard the stories about trans fluid to internally clean an engine, but products like Seafoam are meant for that and are probably cheaper to use.
It also doesn't have the ability to prevent sheering like motor oil does, so the motor should never be run under load when you put trans fluid in the oil. I guarantee you are causing more harm than good since trans fluid thins out the motor oil, which decreases it's lubricating properties.

I'm not trying to be a salesman LMAO.
