Yep, I think it went wheels, grilles, car, then lights.

It's getting redone VERY soon.

What did you use to paint the chrome? Also what process did you do have to sand em down a little first then spray em? Jeff

I'm trying to do the complete opposite by trying to find someone who can chrome my lower grille around the outside of it to match the upper grilles. If anyone knows a place shoot me a pm.

I don't even think it needs the painted chrome rings to be reinstalled. It looks good as is.

It looks better with the rings.

I like how it looks with just the rings too, but they don't stay in on their own.

I like the way you think.

I've been chrome plating hunting for months now.

I found a guy in Texas but he has never replied to my emails (though we've talked over the phone).

I simply bought some of that flexible stick on chrome from eBay (a couple bucks). It's not easy to do and chroming the perimeter of the lower grille would be better.

Ideally, we'd want someone to make the lower grille insert a little smaller, and then make a chrome ring that snaps into place (over it) just like the upper grilles are.
