Default Need new front tires..........suggestions?

Okay, so my fronts are totally shot, the inside of both tires are showing cords so I need tires asap. From what I've seen online, the price for 275's and 255's are pretty much the same, should I step up to the 275? I'm going to check around tomorrow and hopefully find a shop that wont rape me. I have a feeling I'm going to be at the mercy of the closest shop that has something in stock. I already know that my local National Tire and Battery doesnt have anything in stock

Anything that I should stay away from? I'm running Bridgestone Potenza RE050a's right now, and I'd like to find something that's similar in tread design, suggestions? Like I said before, I'm probably going to be at the mercy of the local shops, but if no one has anything tomorrow I'll just order online.

I've got 275/40 Hankook Ventus V12s and they are AMAZING, way better than the Falkens I had.

And don't feel bad I've wore holes in two sets.

I've heard iffy things about the NT555s and I just replaced a set of FK-452s, which were great until the tread got to about 50%.

Well, the only place that has anything in stock is ~30min away and they're 280 bucks a pop (potenza re040's). Looks like I'm ordering online...............pray that my tires dont pop in the meantime!!!!

I think they were 180 for the 275/40s.

I'm seriously considering a set of used Bridgestones to match the rears, I found a set for basically $265 shipped. They have 8.5/32 tread life left, and supposedly no patches or repairs. I want to step up 275's but dont have the funds to get a matching set of four (cant stand the thought of having mismatched tires, although it might come to that). Thoughts on buying used???

I have V12s in the front and V4s in the back, treadwear on V12s is 280 and V4s is 420.

I bought Potenza RE960AS Pole Position tires. Handle just as good as the factory tires but better in the wet and a much better tread wear rating...
