impss07, how much was a can, and how much coverage did you get from one can with two coats on the rim ???

i guess if i do it, and like it, ill let it sit for a few months and then peel it off and then paint them properly

The cans were about $8+tax here. I wasted ALOT of paint due to the design of my wheels. Alot went through the spokes and onto the floor, but stock SS/GXP wheels should be alot easier since they are "meatier" than mine. I went through 2 cans on my rims and got about 2 coats on them. There are parts that I need to touch up, but overall they look good.

I will say that when the cans have about 1/4 left in them they don't want to spray worth a damn!

Wheels off!

Took the wheels off to clean both sides before I went a big car show here and just decided to paint them!

Painted and on!

Oh and I had some black SS to put on but I tore one and had to go back the stock SS look.

wow ! nice wheels/nice sharp ss/nice house /nice garage, etc. i think final test might be alabama guy going at high speed [150 mph] around oval track for about 5/10 laps ? would this be a good ,or bad idea ? only busting a little ? rkvette

so on impulse and after seeing your success with the initial rim, i did mine too ... ill get some pictures up later ... i used about half a can each rim, 2 total and they are empty ... luckily i had bought 3 cans just in case ... and you got ripped on the price man ... i got 3 cans for under 16 bucks ... home depot ?
